💛 The Wellness Journey
Detoxing your body in order to heal
I know quite a few of you have heard this story before, but my biggest passion is seeing women healed, empowered, and thriving in every area of their lives. If I could wave a magic wand and instantly heal every woman’s emotional, spiritual, mental, and physical wounds – I would. But true healing and self-worth don’t come overnight. They come through learning, growing, and choosing to love yourself enough to keep going, even when it’s hard.
Since the events of 2020, I’ve met so many women (and men) who have struggled with declining health and energy. While health issues have always existed, something shifted after that time – and many people have noticed lingering symptoms or unexplained fatigue, especially after receiving the vaccine. People are searching for answers, for ways to reclaim their wellness, balance, and confidence.
While my passion is for seeing women heal and live their best lives, it was actually my husbands experience that got me excited that we all can heal from the after effects of the Covid 19 vaccinations.
Here is my hubbies story. I believe it will give you hope for your future as well x x

Women in Business
30+ Business Spotlight
Every Thursday morning, in the 30plus group, we post the above picture up and you get to promote your business in the comments.
We believe in celebrating and uplifting women who are chasing their dreams and building amazing businesses. Every woman has a unique story, a spark of creativity, and the power to make a difference – and we want to share that with our community!
That’s why every Sunday, we’ll be shining a spotlight on a different woman-owned business, selected from the Women In Business post. . From passion projects to established brands, we’re here to celebrate their courage, inspire others, and remind every woman that your ideas matter, your voice matters, and your business matters.
Join us in supporting women in business – because when women rise, we all rise.
And, with that, please help me to introduce, Charli Mclachlan – emotional strength and trauma coach.
I first met Charli when I watched her interview (you can check it out here: YouTube), and I was immediately struck by her raw honesty and profound strength. She spoke so openly about her journey in trauma, healing, and emotional resilience – not just from a theoretical place, but from lived experience.
Charli’s ability to hold space for difficult conversations, especially around relational trauma, religious deconstruction, and self-worth, is truly extraordinary. She brings a sense of compassion, clarity, and courage that feels both grounding and empowering.
If you’re looking for a woman whose work is deeply rooted in helping others rebuild, reconnect, and reclaim their story – Charli is someone you definitely need to know.
Finding Yourself Again: My Honest Review of Charli McLachlan Coaching For Women Ready to Heal, Grow, and Reclaim Their Power.
If you’ve ever looked in the mirror and thought, “I don’t even know who I am anymore,” you’re not alone. Life after 30 has a way of waking us up – to what we’ve been tolerating, who we’ve been trying to please, and how much we’ve neglected our own hearts. That’s why I want to share something special: Charli McLachlan Coaching. Because what Charli offers isn’t just “coaching” – it’s healing, truth, and empowerment rolled into one.
Why Charli’s work matters So many women I know – myself included – reach a point where we realise we’ve been living in survival mode. We’ve poured ourselves into everyone else: partners, children, careers. We’ve hidden our pain, silenced our stories, and accepted far less love and respect than we deserve. Charli McLachlan helps women undo all of that. She’s not your typical life coach – she’s a trauma-informed guide who walks beside you as you learn to release shame, recognise red flags, rebuild self-worth, and finally believe that healing is possible. Her message is simple but powerful: “You are NOT what happened to you. You are how you respond.” And honestly, that one sentence changes everything.
What makes Charli’s coaching different I’ve seen a lot of self-help spaces that promise quick fixes. This isn’t that. Charli’s work is raw, real, and deeply compassionate. She doesn’t sugar-coat trauma, and she doesn’t rush your healing. She meets you exactly where you are – whether you’re coming out of an abusive relationship, questioning your faith, rediscovering your worth, or simply feeling lost in midlife. She helps women: Reclaim their identity after years of people-pleasing or pain Recognise unhealthy patterns and break them for good Rebuild confidence and self-trust Learn to love again – starting with themselves Every session feels like a safe conversation with someone who truly gets it.
The kind of women who thrive with Charli Charli’s coaching seems to speak straight to women 30+ – those of us who’ve lived a little, hurt a little, and are finally ready to grow. She understands busy mums, shift-workers, women juggling everything while quietly falling apart inside. She gets the exhaustion of keeping it all together and the courage it takes to start again. Her work reminds us that healing isn’t selfish. It’s sacred.
My honest reflection What I love most about Charli’s approach is that it’s never about perfection – it’s about progress. It’s about giving yourself permission to evolve, to breathe, to rebuild your faith in yourself and, for many of us, in God. She has this incredible gift of helping women see themselves clearly again – not as victims, but as survivors who are capable of joy, peace, and purpose.
If you’ve been looking for something that feels real – not polished or performative – this is it. ![]()
In summary Charli McLachlan Coaching is more than a business. It’s a movement – helping women rise, heal, and find freedom in who they truly are. If you’re searching for yourself again, or helping another woman do the same, I genuinely recommend visiting charlimclachlan.com.
Read her story, explore her programs, and see if your heart says, “This is for me.” Because healing doesn’t start with having all the answers – it starts with saying yes to hope.
🎤 Expert Interviews
Real Talk - Real Women
Lately, I’ve noticed quite a bit of chatter in the 30+ community about mammograms – and not the kind of chatter you want to hear. I’ve seen posts from women talking about being left bruised, extremely sore, and some even saying they never want to go through another mammogram again.
But here’s the thing – not checking our boobs isn’t an option. So, I wanted to share something that might help. I had a fascinating chat with Truly Godfrey, a Tauranga-based naturopath with extensive knowledge in thermography, a gentle alternative to traditional mammograms.
Being a woman can be challenging, so sharing anything that can help a sister stay well is a massive win! Whether you’re exploring different options or just want to be better informed, this is a conversation every woman over 30 should hear.

🧠 The Truth Bomb Corner
(Mindset Shift/Empowering Message)
“In order for connection to happen, we have to allow ourselves to be seen. Really seen.” – is about authenticity and vulnerability in human relationships. Here’s what it means:
Being Truly Visible:
To connect deeply with others, you can’t just show a polished or curated version of yourself. You need to reveal your real thoughts, feelings, struggles, and joys.Vulnerability is Key:
Connection requires trust. By letting yourself be vulnerable, you’re giving others permission to do the same. It’s the courage to say, “This is who I really am” without hiding behind masks.Superficial vs. Real Connection:
Small talk or pretending to be “perfect” doesn’t foster meaningful relationships. Real bonds form when people see your true self, flaws and all.Emotional Courage:
Being truly seen can feel scary because it opens you up to judgment, rejection, or misunderstanding. But it’s also how genuine intimacy, empathy, and belonging happen.
💡 In short: You can’t fully connect with someone until you allow them to see the real you – and you can’t feel fully connected until you allow yourself to be seen.
